Construction of a long-awaited roundabout on the Tulla Road in Ennis is set to get underway in early October.

It'll be located at the junction with Oakleigh Wood and Cappahard, in an effort to improve safety for road users and padestrians in an area which experiences high volumes of traffic.
The road works will include a lane for cyclists and involve the re-aligning of the Cappahard Road, drainage works and two new zebra crossings.
It's the culmination of a 10 year campaign and one of those involved, Councillor Johnny Flynn, is delighted that the work will be getting under way soon.
