London Attacker Was Known To Police

Police are searching an address in Ilford in east London in relation to Saturday’s London Bridge terror attack.

A vigil was held for the seven victims last night – ahead of a national minute’s silence at 11am today.

Questions are now being asked about how one of the attackers – 27 year old Khuram Butt – slipped through the security net, after being investigated by MI5.

The other man – 30 year old Rachid Radouane – wasn’t on their radar.

Sunawar Ali is chairman of the Dagenham mosque – where he went.

Mr Radouane had been living in Ireland for a year and a half before the London attack.

He’s believed to have married here and stayed in a bedsit in Rathmines in Dublin, with his wife.

There are fears he may have traveled back and forth from the UK while plotting the attack.
