Local Election Update: Ennis on 20th count.

Pat Daly of Fianna Fáil and Independent Ann Norton are the lates to be elected in Ennis. 

Pat Daly secured his seat with 1579 on the 18th count. While in the same count Ann Norton was deemed elected with 1484 votes.

Earlier Johnny Flynn of Fine Gael secured his seat, while independent James Breen was first to be elected in Ennis last night. 

The 20th count is now underway for Ennis. Candidates are battling it out for 8 seats with four remaining remaining, it was the longest battle paper in the country with 27 hopefuls.
