Clare County Council is being called on to ensure Ennis is wheelchair accessible ahead of Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann.
Margaret Kinnane says she's forced to travel on town roads 90 per cent of the time due to a lack of access and she feels limited efforts have been made to improve pathways across the county.
The Inagh-based woman also believes that access to wheelchair accessible taxis is difficult, saying that she'd often have to book a day in advance when hoping to travel.
And with Fleadh fast approaching, Margaret fears that if work isn't done before the summer, accessibility will never be improved in the county town.
