Local access has been restored on the Clonlara to Sixmilebridge Road at Cloontra East Bridge.
The route was closed late last month to facilitate emergency works, but Clare County Council has now confirmed that a the prohibition on vehicular and pedestrian access has been relocated to Callaghans Bridge.
Scheduled remedial works are ongoing there and the local authority says full access will be restored once necessary works are completed on both bridges.
