A Newmarket on Fergus farmer is hopeful a charity livestock sale at Ennis Mart can raise much needed funds for Rwandan genocide survivors.
A first ever Bothar Weanling for Heifer sale will be held this Autumn and will see over €15,000 worth of stock going through the ring.

The proceeds from the sale will go towards purchasing and rearing heifers until they are sent, in-calf, to Rwanda at 18 months old.
Bothar volunteer John Fitzgerald says the support can make a huge difference to lives of those most in need.
