The number of people signing on Clare's live register has increased for the first time this year.
With students finishing up in school and college at around this time of the year, an increase in the number of people on dole queues has been recorded each June since 2002.
Nonetheless, the additional 264 people who signed on last month is the highest increase recorded here in June since 2012.
It's also the first time this year that the number of people claiming some form of unemployment assistance has risen.
Over half of the increase, 156, has come in Ennis, while in West Clare an extra 62 people signed on.
In East Clare, that number rose by 54 but in North Clare, a small fall of 8 was recorded.
Just under 8,000 people are continuing to sign on in Clare, down by nearly 10% on the same time last year.
