April was a dry month here in Clare, but it wasn’t overly sunny.
That’s according to Met Eireann who say last month was the dullest April recorded at their Shannon Airport weather station since 1993.
There was a total of 114 hours of sunshine, throughout the month, while there was only 30% of usual rainfall levels on a month that was largely dry all across the country.
