LIT President Expects Boost For Region With New Campus

The President Of LIT says output from it’s new engineering campus on the Clare Limerick border will provide a boost for Shannon and the entire region.

134 construction jobs and 100 full-time jobs are to be created as a result of the development which has been granted planning permission by An Bord Pleanala.

It’s expected to be completed on time for the 2019/20 academic year, with over 800 staff and students on the campus by the end of that year.
