Lissycasey Garda station is to close, after the Office of Public Works opted not to renew a 99-year-lease for the station.

However, as a result, a decision has been taken to reopen the purpose-built station in Kilmilhil, a move which will take effect from March 1st.
Chief Superintendent John Kerin is hopeful the change won't discommode too many people.
