Clare Hauliers have been given a reprieve with news that they will not have to pay tolls on the Limerick Tunnel next month.

Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen has welcomed the trial, which lasts for November, which is aimed at encouraging heavy goods vehicle operators to use motorways and not regional or local roads.
The trial also covers the M1, M3 and M6 motorways.
Deputy Breen says this is good for companies in the sector, and also improves road safety.
