Limerick Toddler injured in Dog Attack

A two year old boy is being treated in hospital after being attacked by a dog in Limerick City  last night.

The incident happened at the toddler’s home, when the family pet suddenly turned on the young child without warning.

A neighbour finally managed to pull the husky type dog off the 2 year old who was then rushed to Cork University Hospital where he’s being treated for back injuries.

The animal was then taken away by Clare’s Dog Warden Frankie Coote who says it was in an extremly agitated state.
