Members of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation at Limeick regional hospital have voted overwhelmingly in favour of industrial action.
The staff, based in the Emergency Department, had held the vote amid the growing problem of overcrowding at the hospital.

Meetings are being held with the HSE on the matter this afternoon, but the INMO says if no resolution is found, then they’re likelty to service notice of industrial action.
