A rally will take place in Limerick today to highlight violence against women and to remember those who have died by domestic abuse.
Hundreds of people are expected to take part in the Purple Up Limerick campaign which will begin at one o’clock on O’ Connell Street.
It is running as part of the 16 Days of Action Against Violence Against Women which began on Sunday.
