A Kilrush LGBT Rights campaigner is confident there will be an increase in the number of same sex marriages here in the coming months.

A year on from Ireland's Yes vote in the marriage equality referendum, figures from the Department of Social Protection show 412 same sex marriages were registered in the country in the past 12 months.
However, none of these have taken place in Clare.
