Level Of Overcrowding AT UHL Climbing As Week Begins

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is beginning to climb once again as the week begins.

The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 77 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick during morning rounds, with 32 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figures is 31 more than the next busiest hospitals in Galway and Cork.
