A fodder aid scheme set up earlier last year to assist farmers whose lands were devastated by bad weather led to less than 50,000 euro for Clare.
In all, 19 farmers here received funding under the Fodder Aid Scheme, following heavy rains in late 2015 and early 2016.

Only five counties had a higher amount.
Farmers here received an average payout of just under 2,500 euro.
