A cabinet minister says it's a "pity" that evidence being given to the Banking Inquiry has appeared in newspapers before being announced at the inquiry.

Paschal Donohoe was responding to reports on the evidence of Kevin Cardiff, which was published in newspapers over the weekend.
Mr Cardiff has submitted 380 pages of written evidence to the inquiry – some of which is in conflict with that of previous witnesses.
