Clare Gardaí have seized a large quantity of illegal fireworks and drugs in a targeted search operation today.
The searches which took place across Shannon and Sixmilebridge involved both uniform and detective Gardaí.

In addition to the fireworks haul, Gardaí estimate that €1,600 worth of suspected cannabis was also obtained.
A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
