Large crowds expected as Irish victim of Tunisian attack is laid to rest in Meath

Hundreds of people are expected at the funeral of Lorna Carty in County Meath this afternoon.

Mrs Carty was one of three Irish people killed in last week's terrorist attack in the Sousse beach resort in Tunisia.

The funeral takes place at the Church of the Assumption in Robinstown Co Meath at midday.

The mourners will be led by her husand Declan, children Simon and Hazel, and her parents Johnny and Amy.

Today's ceremony follows Thursday's funeral in Athlone for Martina and Larry Hayes – the other Irish victims of the Sousse attack.
