A lane of traffic has been closed on the M18/N18 southbound following a road traffic collision in South-East Clare.
Emergency services have been called to an incident in the last hour, just before exit 6 between Shannon and Bunratty on the after a car entered the ditch.

Gardaí, along with National Ambulance Paramedics and units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service are currently in attendance.
No injuries have been reported so far, but motorists are being advised to avoid the road if possible.
