A Lahinch woman has been crowned the National Bluebird Carer of the Year for 2022.
Joan O Sullivan, who’s living in Ennis, cares for clients in the county town and surrounding areas of Ruan, Newmarket-On-Fergus and its environs.

She collected the award in Dublin last week after being whittled down to the final five nominees.
Joan says the win is for all carers in both Clare and further afield.
