Lahinch GP Says Less Social Activity This Christmas Now Inevitable

A prominent Clare GP says we will have to get used to the idea of less social activity this Christmas than in previous years.

The warning comes despite Pfizer will look to get a full safety analysis of their COVID-19 vaccine in two weeks time.

Health officials have given a cautious welcome to the vaccine which has so far proved more than 90 percent effective in trials.

Meanwhile, Clare’s incidence rate per 100,000 continues to drop and is now at 138.9 after six new cases were confirmed in this county last night.
