Labour Questions If Water Charges Are Being Suspended Illegally

Labour's questioning if the Dáil is being asked to act unlawfully in suspending water charges.

Legislation's currently being passed that will park the charges while an independent commission looks at them. 

But yesterday the European Commission declared that Ireland can no longer have a derogation in applying domestic water charges.
