Labour Party members from across the MidWest are gathering today to discuss their performance in tackling issues facing the area
The party’s conference, which is being held in Killaloe/Ballina, will see representatives from Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary meet to assess strategies on a number of key issues facing the area.
The include the proposed extraction of water from Lough Derg and the future of local government.
Clare Labour TD Michael McNamara also feels it will give the party’s representatives locally an opportunity to assess their time in government so far.
