Kuwait Airways has announced a new transit service at Shannon airport, on its route from Kuwait to New York/JFK.

The service will operate three times a week, on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays.
It's the first time Kuwait Airways will use an Irish airport in this way.
It will also boost passenger numbers through Shannon.
