Kilrush RNLI is warning people taking to Clare’s coastal spots to ‘float to live’ this Bank Holiday weekend.

It’s expected thousands will flock to some of Clare’s beaches and other public amenities in spite of the mediocre temperatures that are forecast.

The thermomoter won’t get far above 20 degrees this weekend, with showery rain in most of Clare forecast for the next number of days.

However, Charlie Glynn of the Kilrush RNLI has this advice for those who take to the water and may get into difficulty.
