Kilrush lifeboat crew were called to the aid of three people in the early hours of this morning after their vessel's propeller became entangled in rope.

Kilrush RNLI were dispatched around 5am to an area south of Moneypoint where the 43 foot motor vessel had ground to a a halt, amist fears it would drift into rocks.
Commercial divers were tasked to cut the rope while lifeoat crews remained on stand-by to assist in the operation and power was restored to the vessel just after 7am.
Charlie Glynn from Kilrush RNLI says the operation took place during difficult weather conditions.
