Famine Commemoration plans for Kilrush will be formally unveiled today.

The West Clare town will host the National Event from May 3rd to 12th including a visit by President Michael D. Higgins
Later this morning the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan will pay a visit today to launch the 10 day programme of events.
