Kilrush residents and business people are celebrating a new look Moore Street today, after the completion of long awaited road resurfacing works.
Following a long campaign by the Moore Street Traders the historic street, which was once the main commercial district in West Clare, has now been totally resurfaced, bringing an end to potholes and a run down appearance.
Recent years have seen the demise of many businesses along the street, so to pave the way for new developments and to welcome business back to the area, street party celebrations and entertainment will continue throughout the day.
