A Kilnaboy woman is thanking the people of Clare and beyond for their support in helping her to fight cancer for the third time.
Carine O’Loughlin was first diagnosed with a bone cancer called osteosarcoma at 30 and again in 2020, having amputation surgeries on her leg both times to defeat the disease.

However, in July, she received the news that the cancer had returned and this time had spread to her pelvis and spine – meaning surgery is not an option.
A GoFundMe campaign was set up in August to help Carine afford cell immunotherapy and she is now determined to beat cancer once more.
