Kilmihil’s wastewater treatment plant is to be upgraded by Irish Water.
The West Clare facility is among 12 such plants nationwide to avail of the move under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

20 million euro in total will be invested across the 12 sites including Kilmihil, with the upgrades intended to improve water quality in local rivers.
The plant upgrades are due to be completed by 2025.
