A West Clare GAA club has paid tribute to “one of its true greats” who’s been laid to rest today.
Paddy Quinlivan served as Vice Chairman of Kilmihil GAA from 1998 to 2000, in 2004 he was elected President and was unanimously reappointed to the position every single year since.

He was renowned for his selfless dedication, ensuring the upkeep of the pitch, the erection of the stand, driving the St Stephen’s Day wren van for their largest annual fundraiser and for taking an interest in every player’s journey.
Kilmihil PRO Gerrard O’Neill says Paddy was like a father figure for the club.
