Killaloe Volunteers Come To The Aid Of Eight People On Drifting Boat

Three adults and five children have been rescued from a boat that was drifting towards Killaloe Bridge.

Members of the Killaloe Coast Guard Unit were dispatched to the scene just before 6 o'clock last evening, and found that the 32ft vessel was suffering from engine issues.

Volunteers were able to bring it to Ballina Quay, where it was safely tied up.
