Students in Killaloe are striving for national success with their sustainable fashion design.
Transition year students Eleanor Bryant, Caroline Barber and Ciara Delaney from St. Annes College, have secured a spot in the 2026 Junk Kouture finals in which participants must create a high-end fashion outfit from upcycled materials.

The event takes place in Dublin in May, when they’ll showcase their innovative design “Petals of Print,” which transformed recycled paper into wearable art.
One of the students, Eleanor, explains why the project means so much to her.
