A Clare student is the latest recipient of a prestiguous culinary award.
19-year-old Yeshuah O’Brien Bayer (pron: BEAR) from Killaloe has been awarded the 2025 Knorr Professional Student Chef of the Year.

Currently studying Culinary Entrepreneurship in TUS, he competed against chefs from nine other colleges across the island of Ireland.
Speaking on Clare FM’s Morning Focus, Yeshuah describes the process behind the dish that brought home the glory.
