Gardaí in Killaloe are appealing for information after a truck, trailer and mini-digger were stolen from a plant.
At around 7 o’clock on Wednesday evening last, two men were seen on CCTV entering Ballina Sewage Plant just over the border with Tipperary.
The truck was later discovered, without the trailer or mini digger, at the entrance to Roadstone Quarry in Birdhill, where Gardaí believe the men were met by an accomplice and they made off with the digger and trailer.

The truck has been returned to its owner, while the Hitachi zAxis 30 mini digger and a blue double-axel plant trailer are still missing.
