A former Mayor of Clare claims the spirit of Killaloe had shone through, following an extensive fire at a business in the town.
Two people were taken to hospital following the incident at Walsh’s ‘Top of the Town’ bar on Main Street yesterday afternoon.
Units from Clare County Fire Service, Gardaí and National Ambulance Paramedics attended the scene, while up to 30 people from the local community gathered last night to help secure the building.
