A five-year-old boy from Killaloe is being hailed as a hero for his quick thinking that saved his mother’s life.
Ben Holland was just four when he phoned an ambulance for his mother Jennie Kiely, who suffers from POTS syndrome, when she fainted at their home last year.

For his bravery, Ben is being crowned this month’s ‘Limerick Person of the Month’ by the Limerick Leader.
His mother Jennie says she’s still brimming with pride because of Ben’s heroic actions.
