Kilkee's sea-front Strand Line Road will be opened in time for the peak tourist season.

A section of the road has been closed to vehicles since early last year after the famous sea wall there was damaged.
Repair works began in recent weeks, and there had been fears that these would be delayed after a slippage was recorded.
However, Clare County Council has now confirmed this will be repaired in the latter part of the year, minimising disruption during the economically vital tourist season.
