Sunbathers in Kilkee have miraculously escaped injury after a car rolled down steps close to the beach.
The incident occurred around 4 o’clock this afternoon when it rolled from a car park, over a small green area and down to the steps where several tourists were lying out in the sun.
Gardaí, the fire service and the Coastguard attended the scene and have removed the car, which ended up in the water.

Paramedics treated a number of people for shock but nobody received any physical injuries – while Gardaí are investigating the incident.
