Significant advancements are expected on major flood relief projects in Clare this year.
In a written parliamentary response to Meelick Fianna Fáil TD Cathal Crowe, Minister of State Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran confirmed a detailed design for the construction of the Kilkee scheme will be completed in the coming months,

Additionally, it’s anticipated that planning permission will be sought for the €27m Shannon Flood Relief Scheme between October and December.
Shannonbanks Sinn Féin Councillor James Ryan says the development is urgently needed.
