A Kildysart student was one of the highest achievers in the country in this years Junior Cert exams.
16-year-old Ciara Kenny from St John Bosco Community College is one of six students across the country who received 12 As in the state exam.

Ciara has been described by her school principal Deirdre Convey as an "excellent student" having been a winner in the Feile na hInse competition and participating on the Green Schools Committee, which won two green flags last year.
Speaking to the Clare Champion, Ciara said that she has been pleased withhow her exams went in June but was surpised by the level of her success.
