Clare’s Chief Superintendent has warned that the opening hours at a number of stations across the county will be reduced this year due to retirements set to take effect next month.
Members of the Clare Joint Policing Committee also heard that the lack of patrol cars will cause problems though its hoped 3 new vehicles will soon be delivered to replace some of those decommissioned after reaching their mileage limits.

It emerged recently that more that 40 percent of patrols cars in Clare have over 250 thousand Km on the clock – or 7 out of 16 vehicles
