Independents are continuing talks with Fine Gael this evening, but they're indicating progress is very slow.

Fine Gael had hoped to conclude negotiations by tonight to allow for a Dáil vote to re-elect Enda Kenny as Taoiseach either tomorrow or Friday.
But sources in the party say a vote may not now take place until next Tuesday.
Despite that, the acting Taoiseach is hopeful of a speedy conclusion
