The Junior Transport Minister says both Bunratty Castle and King John’s Castle will become fully operational again in April.
The sites, which are operated by Shannon Heritage, are currently operating on a four day week basis.
A process to transfer the management of the facilities to Clare County Council is underway and will be subject to formal Government approval when complete.
