Clare’s Junior Minister believes Shannon and the MidWest needs to prepare itself for a surge in the aviation industry.
It follows the launch of the €1 million Gateway Hub in the Shannon Free Zone, which will be an enterprise space for start-ups from different sectors.
It’ll be located in the original home of Ryanair founder Dr. Tony Ryan’s Guinness Peat Aviation business – the world’s largest commercial aircraft lessor in the 1980s.
