Three months after the first major coastal flooding event hit Clare, Junior Finanace Minister Brian Hayes will travel to some of the worst-effected areas including farmland adjacent to the Fergus estuary, Carrigaholt, Quilty and Lahinch.
Clare County Council has already estimated the damage here at 23.7 million euro, but the government opted not to release funds until a full assessment of the damage is being carried out.
