There’s been another jump in the level of overcrowding at the regions main hospital.

Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that 41 people are awaiting admission to University Hospital Limerick, up from 33 on this day last week.

Of those waiting at Dooradoyle today, 28 people are on trollies with 13 on overflow areas of wards.
