Jobs Minister Richard Bruton travels to Enterprise Ireland’s ofices in  Westpark in Shannon this afternoon for the official launch of the Competitive Feasibility Fund for the Aviation Sector.

In February it was revealed that over a dozen companies would be awarded up to 25,000 euro each to conduct feasibility studies aimed at optimising their competitiveness and in creating jobs, in what’s been described as a ‘ground-breaking innovation.’

The scheme will be administered from Enterprise Ireland’s office in Shannon – local Fine Gael Senator Tony Mulcahy feels initiatives like this are crucial in generating employment.
